Talk to a guy or woman that owns one. I never had any issues with my 2011. A great car to love and drive. Mine was a stick 6 speed. Have to give it up in a divorce, her boyfriend drove it for 6 1/2 years, a lot of miles, still runs great. She has a same year convertible Mini, same thing only automatic. She loves it (hates me) but the cars are great.

I had a 2009 Mini ant the current owner has 100,000 plus on it and it funs great! My 2010 Clubman 58K runs like a scalded dog. My 2017 1.5 is tremendous!
