replaced cooling fans on my freelander2 but the new ones won't turn on. what could be the problem?

i replaced the old cooling fans of my 2008 freelander2/lr2 td4, but the new
ones will not turn on, any idea on what is wrong? do i have to remove
something on the new one, like a safety pin or the kind?

Did you try to put direct power to see if they work???, the fans will not turn on until the car is up to temperature, which is about 190 to 200 degrees...

Try starting the A/C and after that check the fans... Keep us posted with what's happening.
