Chrystler 200 2012 started smoking and oil leaked out.

Asked by Bryan Oct 11, 2020 at 10:21 AM about the 2012 Chrysler 200 S Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When diving i noticed a smell of oil and my check engine
light came on. So I pulled into auto zone and got 2 faulty
sensors. One to do with the oil and p06dd. Guy said i
should be fine ill just get bad gas mileage. When I left my
car smoked and I turned off the car and pulled over. All the
oil leaked out of my car. Any ideas? I've heared anything
from a piston ring, new oil pump, to a whole new engine..

Inspect the engine to find out where the oil leaked out from. Oil filter or drain plug come loose? Oil pan gasket? We can't tell you what needs to be replaced till we know the source of the leak.
