I hadnt either till the other day i was working on a used car on the lot and was putting a gps in and noticed when it hit the unlock button the ignition would cycle. And when i held it down it would crank and run and i was like great there is some electrical problem with this pos. then parts guy and another mechanic told me thats not un common for aftermarket remote starts to work that way. And sure enough when i got to all the wires i needed under the dash it had a remote start installed. Thats why i asked thats the only time ive seen that and had no idea they worked that way.
