Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Replaced low beam head lights about 2 years ago.  Now the driver side low
beam does not work when I start the car but when I use the key bob to
unlock the door the low beam come on.  Any ideas why?

Sounds like you are building excess pressure. Could have a head gasket leak. Try using head and engine sealer. Follow directions completly. Stuff works great for small leaks. Has a clear liquid called "sodium silicate" ir gets very hard when it hits the air if you have a lek. You can check for leak in system with a radoator pressure tester.

Am so confused with your answer how does a leaking head gasket affect the low head light not working?
