5.0 engine swap into a 2010 F150

Just dropped a valve on the 5.4 in my 2010 F150 Platinum and time for a new
engine. I found a 2014 5.0 complete with transmission and transfer case. Any
chance this would be a reasonable swap? What would the biggest challenge be
on this swap?

from the research I have done myself it shouldnt be too hard. to my knowledge ALL ford modular motors have the same mounts, so it should drop right in. Im thinking the hardest setback will be wiring the later model 5.0 motor. They sell the wiring kit to run PCM and TCMs for engine swaps, but theyre pricey. ive seen them at 1500 each for full harness, electronic pedal, airbox, etc.

id like to hear more from someone who knows more about it. I have a 2010 RCSB f150 im trying to swap the 4.6L out with a 5.0

Anyone know what it is like to swap a 4.6 to a 5.0? I know I have the room but I’m unsure if the engine mounts are different on the frame...

Alex, where do you find these wiring kits, i just swapped my 5.4 to a 5.0 and we are having wiring issues.
