unable to lock my honda pilot or use key fob

Honda pilot key fob on key both spare and regular, stopped locking the doors. Now I'm having trouble even opening the door with the key where do I start?

Replace key batteries, bring key to dealer and check if faulty.

If both stopped working at the same time its doubtful that it's the batteries should check the reciever or could also be the lock actuator
