Trunk support for 2012 Honda Civic EX coupe

I have a 2012 Honda Civic EX coupe. The car did not come equipped with gas support struts for the trunk lid so it doesn't stay up when opened. Has anybody ever had this model and retrofitted the car with gas struts? I contacted a couple of aftermarket shops and they don't have a solution for this car.

You will have to fabricate your own mounts and research which size will work. Only way to do that. Maybe just drilling holes and mounting that way.
