Coolant System Flush

Asked by migration_twon94 Aug 01, 2015 at 07:27 PM about the 2011 Hyundai Elantra GLS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm getting ready to replace the
heater core in my car. I've managed
to play around with the dashboard
panel enough to figure out how to
actually get everything apart
correctly. However, I don't know how
to go about getting rid of the coolant
that's already in the system safely
and correctly. Can someone give me
some insight into the process??

Also, any A/C components that I
should be very careful around while
trying to remove the heater core?

Plus, I cannot find an online DIY
repair manual for my car anywhere
and it would be extremely helpful!

Thanks!
