Check and see if the cooling fans turn on when you turn on the AC.
Check to see if the engine cooling fan or fans are working, Is the engine running warmer than usual? Do this start the engine and let it idle with the a/c on max after several minutes you should hear the fans come on, if not check the fuse in the underhood fuse box hope this hels
