I think that will be my best bet , but the mechanics I had working on my car they used a scanner that send them these error codes from above . Are they not the same thing shop mechanics used ? Are they not considered a diagnostic test ? Thank you

I'm not a mechanic I hired a mobile mechanic. No offense and not to be a a girl about it , but I know nothing about cars!! Thanks for your input but I am extremely stressed and have been worried about my transportation and don't need a stranger being absolutely rude to me !!

I hired 2 different mobile mechanics and I am assuming they call those scanners I honestly don't what they are called but each time a code showed up they showed me a machine that had the list of items and part numbers. I needed a.mobile mechanic because I didn't want my car towed to different shops , obviously this is my mistake because as we speak I'm having it towed to a Nissan Dealership and I told them the situation. I am a single women I don't think they were trying to take advantage of the situation I just don't think they had the right equipment or the knowledge unfortunately .
