More than likely there is a 195° thermostat in there, so it can run up to 205° F. or a little more for normal. Normal is at 200° F. Now make sure your getting an accurate reading, verify the temperature with another source. Like on my truck I just went threw and changed out my thermostat because I thought it was running hot, 210°. That didn't help. I happen to put my scanner on it and my temp. was running normal, 195 to 202°, so my gauge on the dash is off by 8 to 10°.
