98 deville rear air ride

Asked by doa1911 Jul 30, 2012 at 08:04 PM about the 1998 Cadillac DeVille Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The air ride on my 98 deville is up all the time. If I leave the car sit for a week or so it comes back down. What is the problem here?

There is a module in the engine compartment that has a release valve in it and if this gets clogged or frozen partially shut it will keep the rear jacked up. You might need to buy a service manual from your local parts house to find the exact location.

When the car is parked, air leaks out of the fittings and the car lowers. You have a slow leak.
