Question type: General

I have a 2002 Cadillac Deville DTS with side
post battery. I need to charge the battery but
can't get the cables to grab onto the battery
without the cables on. Is it OK to charge the
battery while it's still attached to the car like
it usually is? I worry about shorting out my
cars systems.

Yes. I assume you mean to charge it with a trickle charger? http://www.carsdirect.com/car-repair/how-to-use-a-trickle-charger
