2011 Subaru Outback Replaced Transmission

Asked by Katie Jun 10, 2019 at 08:38 PM about the 2011 Subaru Outback 2.5i Premium

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am considering buying a 2011 Subaru Outback with 154K miles. It's
transmission was replaced and has 84K miles on it. Is a replaced transmission
cause for concern, am I likely to have further issues or was the issue with the
old transmission? I have hear that Subaru's often have transmission issues, but
if already replaced should it need to be replaced again?
