I've found this 2003 cts with 173,000 miles on it
now it's 2017 n I think that that's great mileage for
14 years but is there anything else that I should be
lookin for while I'm test drivin it?

With 173K miles, I hope that you're getting a "steal" on the price. With a gasoline burning engine, that's a lot of miles to be considered as reliable transportation. As js08016 suggested, ensure that the transmission is sound.
