Cadillac CTS 2004 ECM repair and key relearning

Hello,

I have an ECM issue with my Cadillac CTS
2004. I have purchased a new ECM
programmed to my VIN and installed it . My
issue is when I get to the key relearning
phrase the security light does not remain solid
but flashes on and off. I have tried to do the 3
cycles but it only flashes and never goes off.
Has anyone else experienced this ? Thank
you in advance

On a GM you must have a working key to program additional keys to the vehicle yourself. If you don't have a working key the programming must be done by your local GM Dealer or a qualified locksmith. I'd go to the Dealer if it were me. Hope that helps! Jim
