2005 sts cadillac wont start after shampooing carpet

Did I get something wet?  That was stupid thiing I've ever done.  Slowly things
are beginning to work again it just will not yet turn over

Are you sure the battery is fully charged? Sounds like it may be low after leaving the doors open for a long time.
