The xdrive is excellent in the snow plus with the added help of the DSC (dynamic stability control) makes it that much better. Hope this helps.

The X-drive along with the power, weight, and safety features make the e60 and exceptionally capable winter driver. If you take the added step of installing or having a winter specific set of wheels and tires, then you have NOTHING to fear on snow or ice.

Excellent treat yourself to a good set of snow tires mounted on there own rims and you will be ready for anything
