Asked by dibadiba Oct 30, 2018 at 10:58 AM about the 2004 BMW 5 Series 525i Sedan RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

"My bmw all of sudden just went crazy. The wipers started going and won’t turn
off at all unless the engines turned off and the keys out. The dashboard lights
are on, abs lights, airbag light, traction control, steering light, tyre pressure light
and my speedometer and fuel gage isn’t working either. The steering is heavy,
the indicators won’t switch off when you turn you have to turn them off yourself."

Would see if there are any pending codes with a reader first then have a look at the charging system. Battery and alternator. If all that checks out you may have a water infiltration issue to a module or damage to wiring harness. Good Luck!
