Looking to buy my first summer.

Asked by sherrod Feb 12, 2019 at 12:31 AM about the 1999 BMW 5 Series 528i Sedan RWD

Question type: General

I found a 99 528i one owner BMW with almost
300000 miles car seems to well maintain and
drives well car shows an ok service record and
hardly any repairs done and it rides very clean and
smooth. My question is 3000 too much for this
car?

Three Hundred Thousand Miles? Can you afford to lose 3 grand the minute you drive it away?

I have driven the car and did a check on coolant horse and radiator the carfax says only one owner and he did regular service checkup and maintains when needed.

Any car with 300K on it is going to be a major risk, unless you take it on as a project or parts car. And being a beemer, it's going to be an expensive project.
