Cadillac CTS 05

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So my problem is that I was driving my car and all
of a sudden my speedometer went crazy, would
drop to 0 then go up and down. All while my car is
jerking and won't accelerate. So my SO switched
out the control module, and that was a few days
ago. He goes to drive it to work this morning and it
does the same exact thing it did to me. I'm at my
wits end with this car. Please help!

No, where would I be able to do that? My SO just disconnected the positive wire to kind of reboot it.
