Transmission fuse keeps blowing

2002 bmw325xi car has been running
just fine the other day suddenly I have a
ABS brake and transmission
malfunction light come on car goes
into limp mode still runs just fine but
only in 3rd gear tried doing the reset as
shown in the manual but that did not
work check the fuse in the glove box
and that one was fine check the fuse in
the box under the hood and the fuse
for the TCM was blown changed the
fuse and as soon as I turn the key to
start it immediately blows again tried
that twice seems like I have a direct
short someplace but I don't know
where to look. any thoughts

Check your wires that run to the abs system and to your transmission and make sure your getting power to your sensors and make sure all grounds are clean for starters
