Can I use 89 325i alternator on 95 325i ?

I have a 1995 Bmw 325i (90544 miles) and am having an
issue with the dash lights and headlights kinda flickering
in and out at idle not so much while driving. It drives and
runs great was thinking it's the alternator any suggestions.

No the oldest you can go is 1992. With the engine on and car in park, probel the battery, the voltage should be 14V. if not, you know you need a new or reman alternator.
