Want to get speed governor removed

I would like my focus to be a little top
end faster but it is governor at
113mph I know that this car has alot
more in it just would like to know if
it's possible to get the speed
governor removed for full potential of
the top end.

There is no governor, it's all done thru the ECM (main Computer and no way to over ride, so i guess you will have to kill yourself at 113 miles per hour..

Usually the speed limiter is set at the maximum safe speed the tires it came with can handle. A Focus at over 113 mph would be , well, dee you emm bee.

And there is a way to do it but not going to let you know. You want to kill yourself?

A tuner might be able to remove the limiter.

Get a tuner plug it in turn speedlimit setting to off
