How can I Disable 2010 Rav4 Seat belt warning chime

This keyless entry car has an incredibly annoying seat belt chime--beeps 58 times!  

Need tips on how to disable the chime itself, w/out affecting airbag.  This is NOT about not using a seat belt; it is about not scurrying to get the belt on w/in Toyota's panicked time frame--for example, down my 1200 foot driveway here on the farm!

Have seen the odometer/trip push/pull/buckle/unbuckle scenario for older Rav's, but don't think it works on this one.  Have tried.

Toyota REFUSES to help me.  I hate being patronized and told that they know best when it comes to my personal safety.

Did you ever receive any responses to this post? I would like to disable this as well, but the older method does not seem to work with a keyless ignition.

Would also be very interested in knowing if you've found a solution. I tried the steps you mention many times, to no avail. I agree it is infuriating that this information is not more readily accessible. I guess you could always find the little speaker and smash it. :) Also troubling is the complete absence of instructions in the owner's manual (or online, that I can find) for replacing the rear windshield wiper blade. It is not a standard clip-snap-swap blade, like the front wipers (and every other wiper I've ever known).

I can answer rear wiper issue. Only replace the blade material. Nothing else. Easy to do. Regards, Articblond
