Door stuck on a Honda CRV

How do I open a locked rear door on a 2010 CRV to replace the door actuator?
Door trim removed.  Unable to open the door to get to the screws on the
actuator.  Is there a way to release the faulty actuator manually to open the
door? . Any suggestions welcome. Thank you.

You don't have many options since three of the screws to remove the actuator are on the door side. Best option if you 100% know the actuator is bad is just take a big screwdriver and hammer and bust the actuator so you can see the pin and force it open. Then remove what's left once you get it open.

Were you ever able to get the door to open? I have the same issue with the driver's door in a 2011 CR-V.
