Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2010 Dodge Journey that will not start. No
power inside vehicle except for the locks. Can not
start or even crank car. My battery is good and have
voltage to my fuse box. Checked fuses and they are
good. Has anyone had this problem?

It was the TIPM. Disconnect battery and slap the side of your fuse box a couple times then connect battery back up. Sounds dumb but I was told to do this by a 40+ year supervisor for Dodge, it worked.

I have a 2010 Journey SE 2.4 that had a random no start / no crank and it was with the Starter solenoid connector. If its not the neutral safety switch check the connector on the Starter solenoid. For me it would back off of the connector occasionally and result in a no start / no crank situation. Reaching my arm in and pushing the Starter Solenoid connector back on fixed it EVERY time. Finally added some Dielectric grease to the connector and never had an issue again.

Rab321 is right I've had to do this same thing. I had it towed to dodge and they replaced ignition under recall but told me that had no clue why it wouldn't start, and after playing with wires in parking lot found that pulling wires under Airbox that goes to starter under intake it would fire right up.

I had this it turned out to be shifter cable seizing and not letting it go right into park

Tow truck driver accidentally moved wire bundle in engine compartment, no problem with starting since! First two years 2010 Journey was towed and hauled on flat beds more than driven! Anyone have high beam headlights randomly come on? No one seems to have that answer...

My car is a 2010 dodge journey same problem in the past no crank no start. Turned out to be a recall issue.bhadcto give my new fobs and everything. February this year will be 2 years with the recall and now it is starting to do the same thing again. Going back to dodge to hopefully get the recall redone. But need to know a trick to start it on the mean time sometimes. It seems to be quick stops where the issue acts up.

I started having the no start problem after 4 yrs of owning my 2010 Journey. A quick start from tow truck driver does the trick. Good thing i have State Farm roadside insurance. No charge or higher bill. It would not start after short trips. Battery have 1/2 yr left on it. Hate where the battery is located.

I've replaced the battery twice, had the alternator checked, and it's not that, have to jump it lately anytime I want to drive it! I can hear a clicking noise coming from the fuse box ,but no one can determine for where exactly. Now I try to jump it and it starts and immediately stops and turns off!

Removed the drivers side front wheel well to expose the wires and found a greenish area on one. Cut it out and replaced with a good section about 4 inches long and the car starts great.
