Driver side airbag?

Does anyone actually know who made the driver's side airbag for the 2010
Subaru Outback Limited?   The dealership and Subaru said that ONLY the
passenger side airbag is affected and replaced it, thankfully,  BUT, I'd sure like to
know that it's not a TAKATA product on the driver's side.   Or, maybe it's a
different version of the airbag..  any ideas?

you can go here/ http://www.safercar.gov/rs/takata/takatalist.html and enter your VIN number and see but the list does have your car but does not say Drivers side or passenger side, so with that I think you may want to call another dealer and ask if your car has a recall on both sides to double check the first dealer.

joemom- thanks, actually, I took the car to the dealership where I purchased it and they said it was ONLY the passenger side airbag that was affected. And, this is consistent with the letter from Subaru. My question is WHAT manufacturer or model is on the driver's side. It's possible that it is a different version of the TAKATA product.
