Air conditioning on one side and heat on the other

Hi! I’m driving a great 2010 Ford Escape
hybrid. Suddenly, today, I have heat blasting
out of driver’s vents and A/C on passenger
vents. (I’m impressed they aren’t just the
same system). Any suggestions?

Thank you so much for that response. Is this something I can access, myself? Through the engine? Or do i need to pull things apart?
