Dead battery

My battery died and my key isn't working
for my trunk. I need to change my battery
but I have no power to open my trunk.
Please help

Why does your key not work? You will need to remove the rear seat to open it from the inside.

Your fob has a key blade in it to open the trunk or doors in case of battery failure. Push the black triangle on the side of the fob to release it. There will be a square rubber plug to the left of the trunk release with a lock cylinder for the key blade.

my2009 fx jag rear fold sit will not unlatch is there a way to release the catch? regards Mark
