Porsche Cayenne

Asked by GuruB113L Jan 05, 2019 at 12:21 AM about the 2009 Porsche Cayenne GTS AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I’m thinking about buying a Porsche Cayenne
GTS 2009. Low mileage and in great
condition throughout. However, I did notice
the strange
“colouring”/degradation/metalwork(!) to one
pipe leading to the right rear tire (see photo -
top centre). The matching pipe to the left rear
does not have this.
Can anyone tell me what this pipe is for and if
the way this pipe looks is an indication of
something to be worried about? Thanks!

Anti-roll / Sway bar even if it rusts out their only $300 for a replacement part, plus the install fee. Be aware of the steering column issues with the Cayenne. These vehicles can be purchased very inexpensively... because people are scared of the cost to service them.
