Gas light

I am curious how far I can drive my generic factory
model 2009 Subaru Impreza with the gas light on. I
like to keep her full but in the event I would like to
know.

The fuel light indicates that there's less than 2 or 3 gallons to empty, so, depending upon your fuel consumption, less at highway speeds, BUT, I would advise that you don't run down this far on a regular basis.. Running close to empty is harder on the fuel pump...

When I said less at highway speeds, I mean that you might go another 50 miles, but, in the city, you might run out of gas sooner... Don't run out of gas, not a good idea..
