2009 VW Routan Neutral Drop out

Asked by Jake May 28, 2019 at 01:40 PM about the 2009 Volkswagen Routan SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2009 VW Routan is experiencing an issue where when we decelerate and
stop, the transmission automatically shifts into neutral and won't go back into
drive until I restart the car. I checked the fluid and the level and both were
good. I replaced the filter and fluid just for good measure and it did not help
the issue.
