2009 Nissan Exterra Stopped

Asked by Bill Jan 24, 2019 at 09:05 AM about the 2009 Nissan Xterra X 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2009 Nissan Exterra shut down while driving on Monday it was -1 degree out.  I had vehicle towed.  Garage said no oil in vehicle..  No leaking oil or I would have noticed..  No sensor light ever came on.  Not burning oil either.  Had oil and filter replaced in September..  Vehicle will not start.  Battery is new and strong.  Starter just gives one "clunk" when trying to start.  When vehicle died, it was like someone turned my key off.  I didn't even know vehicle shutdown due to fan and radio on.  Power steering became difficult.  garage says engine seized.  All they did was check dipstick..  Everyone else is dumbfounded this happened without warning..  Anyone have any ideas...etc?

NO.. if there was a light on, I would have easily seen it!!!!!! I am OCD about that shit!!!! The last warning light to come on was the low air pressure light.. None of the other warning lights EVER came on..
