Question type: Maintenance & Repair

What is going on with my Edge? It sounds like a frog, its hesitant, horsepower
dwindled and it has a heavy gas smell? I changed coil packs, spark plugs,
manifold gaskets, etc. and still cant figure it out. Anyone having this or had this
issue? It doesnt smell like rotten eggs though. Its just a real heavy gas smell.

Check the air filter box make sure it's clear and not packed full of dog food, other thing to check is catalytic converter make sure it's not turning orange after running engine for a bit.

Thanks man! It was the PCV Valve. It was allowing oil into my intake, causing my vacuum lines to get clogged. Then on top of that my car sucked up rain water and clogged my filter. Then I checked my plugs and had a crack on #5. Now I have all this oil in my intake and I’m trying to burn it up to clean it out. Any suggestions on how to get the oil out?
