will a 2016 chevy impala door fit in a 2009 chevy impala?

Asked by GuruPTJ1Z Jan 17, 2020 at 02:08 PM about the 2009 Chevrolet Impala 1LT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

my rear driver side door was damaged in an accident.  I found a 2016 impala
that has a grade A door.  Are they compatible?

1 Answer

2006-20016 will interchange, but there are 2 types of doors with moulding and without moulding. These doors should be available at a u-pull-it salvage yard for $40.00 to $90.00. A "standard" yard will charge $100 to $250. Some will want more, but they aren't worth it. These doors are plentiful and you may be able to match your paint code, keep in mind cars painted on different days and in different years may not be a perfect match.
