I have the exact same problem with my 08 Solstice GXP 5 speed! I had mine scanned at a parts store with the same result as yours! If there's two having this problem there must be more out there. Have you asked about the problem at any of the other forums? This could be a nightmare that we could throws tons of money at and get bunches of incorrect answers. HELP!

So this is a problem on many of the Pontiac solstice, I have been chasing this for three years! I have checked all the wires, changed all four hubs. Also checked my brake booster for correct vacuum all has checked good. I even changed my brake switch twice, thinking I received a bad part. Looking at the BCM and maybe a new fuse box. This happens after the car gets washed for the most part. If I can find this problem I will post the answer to the craziest problem I have ever troubleshot on any car ever! 09 solstice GXP with Werks turbo upgrades.

there is a service bulletin from gm referencing this problem on Malibu's and some Pontiacs. it does not mention the solstice but I thought I would try the fix and it worked. the problem is caused by corrosion in the j2 or c2 connector on the bcm module, which is located on the passenger side against the firewall under the carpet. just remove the plug and plug it back in 3 or 4 times and the problem is solved. took 10 minutes and the problem has not returned in the last 3 weeks.
