Will my battery recharge hold ?

Asked by Guru3MTDM Jul 17, 2020 at 05:03 PM about the 2008 Mazda MAZDA3 i Touring

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

If I took my battery into local auto parts store
had them tell me a cell was bad but then
tried recharging and the battery fully charged,
also had them test alternatior and they said it
was fine, do you think my battery will stilll
hold a charge or drain overnight?

It will drain, hard to say how long it will take, my experiences have been if the cell is bad the battery won’t even last that long.

If the battery has a bad cell it will not hold the charge for long. You need a new battery. Hope that helps! Jim
