Somebody offered me the price I am asking for the car, however, he's asking to put a down payment on it and make payments. Is that something they do through CG? How does it work?

Don't agree to payments unless you want to get cheated. Tell them to go get a loan like everyone else. Tell them to check out AutoPay.
