For my g35 2008 should I get a whole new
headlight or do I need just a light bulb?

You only need to replace the headlight bulb unless the headlight housing itself is busted, here is a guide to replace the headlight bulbs https://www.carcarekiosk.com/video/2008_Infiniti_G35_3.5 L_V6/lights/headlight
