transmission not shifting correctly

Asked by hapy1luky2 Jun 30, 2012 at 10:33 AM about the 2008 Chevrolet Equinox Sport FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Transmission was noisy between shifts and finally stopped working.  Eventually got it to shift 1-3 manually and only 1st gear on automatic. Had to tow.  Any suggestions on what is wrong.

i have the same problem. NOTHING in DRIVE but you can start it in 1st and move it to second, sometimes into 3rd but wont go into overdrive.
