I turned mine from a sensor to a manual latch but I did it my self and I had to run a line from the lift gate to the driver side door and it has been working for over a year. The sensor latch was too much money the manual latch cost me around $40 and the wire around $3 labor $0 did it my self but it took me a month to figure out how to make it work..
Lift gate won't open? Any suggestions? Cost?
