Can i use a transmission from a 2006 to 2010 Explorer and install into the 2008
Sport Trac - V6 / 2 wheel drive?  If not, do you know which Ford product or year
I can use?

I think you have a 5R55S transmission in your v6 explorer. The V8 from 2006 used a 6R60 transmission. Search the net for a match using the VIN of both vehicles.
