My mustang wont start

Asked by Kaylor Jul 17, 2018 at 05:47 PM about the 2008 Ford Mustang GT Premium Coupe RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

This morning I was driving to work, my Mustang is
my daily driver. My music was on and all is running
fine but then I stopped at an intersection and the
power surged with all the electronics turning off
and on quickly. I continue to drive to work and
when I got out until open my trunk I had to hit the
button twice to open it, I figured it was just ran out
of batteries, but then when I went to lock the door
it wouldn't work. Thinking the remote was dead I
just went to lock the door with the button for on the
inside but I had no response. I then hopped in the
car and to turn the key to knows only two buttons
were flashing. If I remember correctly it was the
airbag and another one I can't remember. I let it
charge rest of the day only two knows no result. So
I bought a new battery and installed it with the
same response. I turn the key and there's no
reaction. I've checked a few fuses but haven't
found anything wrong. Any suggestions would be
helpful. Thanks

Have you turned the car on and disconnected the battery while it’s still on it should keep running if your alternator is working but if it shuts off there is your problem
