2008 Subaru Forester X code P0456

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Check engine light on and flash cruise control
flashing..run very normal, those light came back
around 200-300 miles after reseting the code. I
replaced Vent, purge valve, and charcoal canister
and still “no luck”. Anyone have any ideas,
advise..Thanhks

Thank you, again. Last resource to try figure out that problems. By the way, also check my fuel filler neck show no rust

From experience, any time that cruise control light comes on in a Subaru it makes me think of the ignition switch. You may have two issues at once though since the P0456 code is showing and the cruise control light is on. Do you notice any sort of lag during transmission shifts sometimes, or sometimes the engine sputters out while idling? If so, replacing the ignition switch will fix that unless there's some larger issue at hand.
