Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had my car in drive and when I put it into park and
cut the car off the symbol for drive didnt change to a
P even tho it was supposed to be in park and also I
was unable to get my keys out the ignition and now
my car won't even start all the lights and everything
still work but the car wont shift gears and wont start
since since I'm guessing the car believes its in drive
instead of park. Plz help...

Have you tried the basics disconnecting the battery shifting to neutral then back to park then starting?

Na I haven't tried that I'm just like what the heck happened lol ima open her up tomorrow check for spliced wires since we just put in a stereo system could be a possibly when we put the panels back on
