Blend door clicking noise

Asked by Guru1CQNS Sep 05, 2019 at 03:47 PM about the 2008 Chevrolet Impala 2LT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I get this noise when I turn OFF the A/C and it lasts for about a minute. I
changed the actuator, ( I know I changed the correct one because the noise
goes away when it is unplugged.) but the noise still exists. Any ideas?

Thanks, Tom

I thought of that and that is why I disconnected the the cable from it, but the problem still exists. I did not mention that when I opened the original actuator there were no damaged to the gears at all! Thanks
