I have a 2007 Silverado with the 4.8 liter. I have installed a spectre cold air intake. Recently I have noticed a considerable lag between the time I push on the pedal and the time my engine responds.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The engine has155000 miles on it. When it

It is hard to get the ECM,set to the air intake of the intake, the TPS and you IAC,are drawing more air and reading it wrong due to the air volume, most of the time this is due to the long air intake on the spectra in take, this can some times be solved by shorting the air in take it self, but usually ends up in haveing to have some one turn up the power on your ECM.
