Knocking noise when turning off heat in 2008 Mercury Sabel

Just recently my 08 Sable has a knocking noise when you turn off the heat. Its coming
from the front passenger side. Close to the floor. Any suggestions?

Could be a blend door acting weird, but I suspect maybe the blower motor. See if there is a kick panel that comes off so that you can access the blower and feel/listen to it when you do it.
